Best Cousins Forever .. 

Many of us will be a single kid in the family. For people like us, cousins mean all the sibling shits. Sometimes more than our own brothers and sisters these cousins play a major role in our life. Ya they have played a major role in my life . Ya friends do play a major role but you can choose them, cousins you better call them god's gift 

In childhood, we will all be expecting our summer leave coz, thats when our cousins would be visiting our home and we ll be having our best times. Those days , early 90's were the best time to be roaming around as kids. No real estate builders putting flags and boundaries in landscapes, no water pollutants in canals, no internet and Facebook that takes 22 hours of the day , no special classes or coaching centers or academies that run to train a 5 yr old to behave as a doctor or engineer. In short we were allowed  to live life as children, we were allowed to play in mud , jump into wells and canals, roll in dirt, eat as we wish. 

Cousins.., different cousins play different roles in our lives. During childhood our elder brother who had a  cycle with him would fancy us. We will sit around in mud and play kitchen games with oo ur sisters, few of us were lucky enough to have a big toy car and most importantly we were ready to share everything we had.

We dint bother much about our profile pics or about the wall posts or about the number of friends. We played together , had moonlight dinner together, chased one another, played hide and seek, slept in same bed with hands and legs on one another. We loved without any conditions and promises. Most importantly we were loved back the same way. 

As we grew up, we acquired friends. All of a sudden we would start hating summer holidays. Our cousins grow up too. They had their own bunch of friends. Our meetings would become more casual and we will be occassionally meeting them in marriages and other functions. This would be till the age of 13 or 14. Once we enter the teen age our cousins would be back to play their part in our lives . Again our games would begin but this time bit seriously. Like guiding us in board exams, helping us in selecting the college, encourage us even when we score low.. They are people who believes us even if we dont .  

Then after getting a job, they would lend us pocket money, take us to places, get us good food , share their rooms with us, understand us and most importantly they would never complain or get bored of us. It would be nice to listen to our younger sister's advice, elder bother's help and they would never let us down in front of others.... Even our parents. 

We may fight , 

We may argue , 

We may not speak for days, 

We may misunderstand, 

We may shout at each other 

My cousins 

But A Cousin Would Be There When You Need Them .. 

To Hold you High and Put You Back On Track ..
