Lets first think to whom we need to be thankful ... And most importantly are we really thankful for all of them.
We are now happily reading this blog and do we really know how many members are responsible for this?? Military, Navy and Air forces and their soldiers who sacrifice their sleep and other comforts for our well being.. Security in borders , police men in check posts and many more people work their ass up for our comfy and well being.
Have we ever thought of thanking our bus driver who made our journey safe and enjoyable one? Its a blessing if we dont curse him for being slow rider. Hello for your information you are on a bus and not on a Boeing 787 to reach your destination in minutes. Have we thanked the auto driver who would drop us in our interview spot just on time, risking his life? Ambulance driver, Taxi driver , the gardener of the public park who maintains a place so neatly, a server who made our dinner a memorable moment ... Many more people who just cross our everyday life and who we keep on ignoring continuously .. Thank You Champions.
Friends are people who need not be thanked. But how long can we take them for granted?? shouldnt we thank the fellow who daily waits for us in lunch break to share his lunch time with us. A Friend who gives his homework to you knowing that this particular teacher hates you and not him. Lying to our parents to take us out to the place we wish. No matter how many times you repeat the same drama , they never get bored of us and stay with us. They don't complaint that we spend our happy moments with our loved ones though we know that our friends deserve more attention than we give. during the time of crisis you dot even need to call them, they would stand right next to you througout the tough time and never wait for our thanks or gratitude and just keep moving .
Most of us would have been in hostel or mansion. Life is quite different there. But friends who go out and call you at midnight to just ask you if you need something to eat . No need of food or drinks but their love and care would make our eyes and heart overloaded . The way they take care of us when we are sick. The way they would make us feel good though one of our arm or leg is broken . The day when we get a call from our parents that they would be visiting our room the next day .. Imagine the cleaning process without the help of our friends ?? We would be left in a Egyptian pyramid ...
We may be some one's Romeo or Juliet. They would see our flaws as missed chances. They would appriciate even our small success. Support us in all our attempts , believe us more than we do , share their shoulder when we fail , give us the love, care , peace of mind which our friends and parents cant give us at times, who never compares us with others, who would respect our smallest of feelings , who would care like a mother , fight like a brother , feed like a sister , work for us like a father , love us like a wife ..She is just not our Juliet but our better half .. Along with "I LOVE YOU" let us add "Thank You" this time.
Senior people ... May be two years or twenty years senior to you but they would care you in their own ways . When you need some book for reference or any help in studies our seniors may help. Aunts, uncles , neighbors , cousins wihtout whom we would have have been to this level .. They might help you , support you in tough times , lead you or advice you regarding any problem .. But they have played a major role in shaping us the way we are now . We owe a big "Thank you" for them all.
Teachers !!! without whom we are nothing today . There may be our favorite teacher , most hated teacher, most funny teacher , strict teacher , many other names .. I believe we were all one father of naming creatures during our high school and college period of our life. My favorite was handling english and she encouraged me to write on my own in class five. Now I have finished two novels, running this blog, helping friends with speeches, anchor tips and most importantly I can put forward my own thinking in english without and fear or doubt. Who knows if Kavitha mam had handled physics , I would have been the next Abdul Kalam . We owe them tons and tons of "Thank You"
Last but not the least ... Parents. No matter how bad your day is , When we get home, our mom would be waiting to make us feel better. They work to feed us , they do overtime to make us study in better schools, they sacrifice their pleasure just for our well being. I know women working as servant maid just to make her daughter to get through IAS. People may see you as clown , loafer , useless fellow, big mouthed , cunning fox and whatever but we are always the king and queen of our parents. We must thank them from our hearts.
