Hi Fellows,
I was all pumped up yesterday regarding that 10,000 page views and was thinking myself that I am a great writer and other blah blah as usual. I got a fatal blow to all these over celebration mood. A person came into my life admiring my writing works and my social concern. I got close with that person and slowly moved the person from my just friend sector to best friend sector. Then I came to know very recently that "I did not know to manipulate the difference between my fan and friend. I was damn foolish to believe and convince myself that people who like my writing would like me too!"
Now what is the maturity level I have here ? Nothing. I dont even know to differentiate a person from my fan and a friend. When people come and pat your shoulder saying that you are really a great fellow, smile and put your head down and tell yourself that "This too shall pass". It would be foolish to think that people think a lot about your writing and you are about to bring a change in the world, if you think all the above, join the club bro, you are a damn filtered fool like me!
Now, Usual ritual. Thank you so much for all the support, love , care and guidance for all the support. It would have been impossible without you people to be this successful. This success is dedicated to all my readers, rivals, friends and the so called fans! Thanks a ton mate.
Now A small doubt. Every year , guys and girls who secure state first of very high marks come infront of the tv channel and tell us that they are going to help the poor by becoming doctors and other professionals. That you are going to guide the younger generation to next level, that you would help them to find the secret of success. Just a question guys , "Where the **** are you ?!"
As I am a senior writer among my age group fellows, a small advice: Fellas, dont write so that the society will change, dont write your spouse would love you more , dont write so that your friends would appreciate you. Write for the truth of literature , write for the hunger for writing , write for the cause for which you took writing seriously. You will rock. You dont need a hot shot figure or a unique talent to stop the world and make it travel in the rite path, all you need is a good pen, open mind and a strong heart to peruse till you reach your goal.
