Book Review -Turtles All The Way Down by John Green

Well most of us would have read his previous work "Fault in our stars". If not please do read it .
This book has main character named "Aza" who is the best portrayal of OCD. The book begins in a detective passion where she is in search for a fugitive billionaire along with her friend Daisy. The missing person happens to be the father of Aza's childhood friend/ Crush Davis Pickett who offers them a hundred thousand dollars to stop the detective work about his father . Now wait a minute , Where is John Green's plot , teenage love , heart breaks , anxiety , losing a dear person in an early stage of your life, hospitals , deaths and medicines and stuffs . Everything is there .
The book happens at Indianapolis, we get to see the geography of the town , a little history and in detail about their sewage treatment plans .

Why you MUST read this : It captures the essence of an adolescent life , the dark corners of our heart where we would have kept a lot of piled up secrets about ourselves , the book would make us relive those moments, once the actual transition of the plot takes place we would know for sure we are in for a sad end, but what makes the reader grip the book is just the fact that we would have loved those moments , few connections , few hopes , few promises and few sacrifices .

Those one liners would literally stop your heart and make you hate yourself and love yourself more at the same instant.
Few complain that same old adolescent stuffs , teenage sufferings , sad ending. But this is a different ride all together .

When we read few books in public few books would make you cry and suddenly we would get conscious about our surrounding and we would hurriedly wipe away the tears and move on . And on a rare occasion , we would be so immersed in the plot that we wouldn't not even bother to close the book and wipe the tears but will feel something that would enrich our soft feelings . That is the kind of book this turtle all the way down is .

I didn't give me favorite quote just not to spoil the feel when you read it in the book for the first time . Worth it ..
Marks ? 5/5. It's not just a book , it's a life.
With love ,
Arvi
